Scott Shriver is from Elgin, Illinois and has a passion for helping others. He attended Elgin Community College and received his associates degree in Fire Science. Knowing how much he cared for others, he joined a private ambulance service in 2018. During this time, Scott developed a passion for cooking. He then started his career in the restaurant industry as a host at a high end restaurant. There he began to learn what it takes to run a restaurant establishment. In 2015, he was transferred to Nashville, Tennessee to be the General Manager of a high-end restaurant, putting his EMT career to rest. While in Nashville, he realized that food trucks were taking over the streets by storm. Always wanting to work for himself, his dream for a food truck began. In 2019, Scott married his husband, John Lee. John Lee would not stop pushing, encouraging, and inspiring him to follow his dreams of owning his own food truck business Together they began turning their dreams into reality. Scott’s Tots became established in 2021, and proudly serves the Madisonville/Sweetwater community in East Tennessee.

John Lee was born & raised in Olive Branch, Mississippi. He spent nine years in the Multi-Family Housing Industry managing apartment communities & in the Off-Campus Student Housing Industry as well. For the last ten years he has worked for CORT Business Services, a global furniture & housewares rental & relocation company, in sales. He has a passion for sales, creative marketing & advertising, but most of all, being social. John Lee has created everything for Scott's Tots Food Truck from logos, truck design, websites, marketing graphics & social media pages. He is so excited for this new adventure with his husband, Scott & is looking forward to getting involved in the local communities in & around Monroe County, TN. In his free time he enjoys camping, kayaking, crossword puzzles, spending time with family & friends, & taking classes to learn new things. He is currently taking Spanish & is in school to get his affiliate brokers license.
Our Story
Scott’s Tots is a family owned and operated food truck serving the great state of Tennessee. We are serving up some of the worlds greatest gourmet southern-inspired tater tots. Our family homemade recipes come straight from our cookbook and into the hearts of our guests! The delicious food we provide is served with passion, excellence, integrity, and a “you first” mentality. What do we mean by “you first”? We put others before ourselves, go above and beyond for our guests, for each other, and most importantly, “just be kind”!
